Timberview nips Reedy to continue undefeated streak

Timberview squeaked out a win over Frisco Reedy, 28-26, on Friday afternoon at Pennington Field in Bedford to maintain its unbeaten streak and continue on in the UIL playoffs.

The Wolves (13-0) took a 21-3 lead into the half before Reedy (12-1) scored 10 in the third quarter and posted 13 in the final quarter. Timberview put up 10 in the fourth to secure the win.

The Wolves will face Longview (13-0) at Mesquite Memorial Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday in the region finals. The Lobos are ranked No. 1 in Texas Football’s Class 5A state rankings, while the Wolves are No. 2.
