Bayit Brew Coffee House, an independent, family-owned specialty coffee shop, is now open at The Grove at La Frontera. Founded by husband-and-wife team Dave and Lindsay Takisaki, the shop was built to feel like home, carrying the tagline, "A neighborhood coffee shop, built for the long stay."
Located at 621 E. Debbie Lane, Suite 100, Bayit Brew is designed around distinct spaces: The Coffee Bar, The Reading Wall and The Lounge, so guests can grab a quick cup or settle in for the afternoon.
What sets the shop apart is how much of its menu is built on other local small businesses. Bayit Brew has partnered with local roasters for its beans, sources pastries from Pinch of Salt Pastries and serves locally churned ice cream from Helados.
"We wanted supporting Bayit Brew to mean supporting a whole web of small businesses around us," said co-founder Dave. "That's woven into how we built this place."
The one thing the shop makes entirely in-house is its syrups. Every flavor is crafted by hand in small batches with high-quality ingredients, designed to strike the right balance between espresso and flavor rather than burying a drink in sweetness, the foundation of Bayit Brew's signature lattes.
Bayit Brew Coffee House is open from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday; 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and closed Sunday.
