Jewel Wong of Mansfield High School and Caroline Brown of Legacy High School were honored at Tuesday’s Mansfield ISD school board meeting after being named 2020 National Merit Semifinalists for their scores on the PSAT /NMSQT. Wong and Brown are 16,000 semifinalists who will compete for 7,600 National Merit Scholarships.
Mansfield, Texas, is a booming city, nestled between Fort Worth and Dallas, but with a personality all its own. The city’s 76,247 citizens enjoy an award-winning school district, vibrant economy, historic downtown, prize-winning park system and community focus spread across 37 square miles.
