Thousands attend Mansfield ISD Back to School Bash

Mansfield ISD kicked off the 2021-2022 school year with a bang at the Back to School Bash on Saturday at Ben Barber Innovation Academy and the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for Performing Arts.

Featured were performances by school theater, musical and cheer groups, plus free backpacks, tennis shoes, vaccinations, food, school supplies and books.

Thousands of students and parents participated in games and activities, having fun and preparing for the upcoming school year, which begins Aug. 18.
