Standing in front of the Phillips Pharmacy in Britton in 1941 or 1942 were (from left) Faye Louise Wilson Wynn, Emma Sue Phillips Nichols Womack and Dorothy Helen Wilson Howell. The pharmacy was owned by Emma Sue Phillips Womack's father and had an old-fashioned soda fountain with small tables and wire-backed chairs in the back. The building later became a grocery store.
