Mansfield Animal Care & Control is waiving all adoption fees in August as part of the Clear the Shelters campaign.
The shelter is waiving all fees associated with adoptions, valuing more than $70, from Aug. 1-31. The nationwide Clear the Shelters campaign aims to encourage pet adoptions across the country and fulfill the goal in its name: find forever homes for every animal currently housed in an animal shelter.
“We want to do everything we can to find families for the animals,” Lori Strittmatter, Mansfield Animal Care & Control manager, said. “Waiving fees is one way we can make it even easier to make a dog or cat part of your family.”
The Mansfield Animal Shelter houses puppies, dogs, kittens and cats. A complete list of animals available for adoption is available online at MansfieldTexas.gov.
The Mansfield Animal Care & Control Center, 407 Industrial Blvd., is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. With extra adoption hours from noon to 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month. For more information contact staff at 817-276-4799.
