Enjoy a free community-wide picnic in the park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Katherine Rose Memorial Park, 303 N. Walnut Creek Drive.
Bring your family's lunch, and the parks department will bring music, games, crafts and treats for dessert. Enjoy a chalk art contest and activities from Mansfield Public Library. The event is free, no registration required. Bring your own blanket and lunch. Tables and grills available on a first come, first served basis. For more information, contact parks@mansfieldtexas.gov.
