Mansfield Stadium announced that Team Czechia will host a Community Training Session at 9:30 a.m. June 6 as they prepare for FIFA World Cup 2026.

Fans wishing to attend the Community Training Session can register for a chance to win up to four free tickets through 11:59 p.m. May 31. Ticket quantities are limited. Winners selected through the lottery process will be notified June 2 and will receive a designated window to claim tickets. If tickets remain unclaimed following the initial selection period, additional winners may be chosen. Register to win tickets here.

During the Community Training Session, attendees will have the opportunity to watch Team Czechia’s on-field training activities up close. Please note that tickets for this event are different than the postponed Open House that was originally scheduled for May 27. Details for that event will be released soon.

“It is an honor to serve as Team Czechia’s Base Camp Training Site, and we’re thrilled to share this experience with our community,” said Scott Norton, General Manager of Mansfield Stadium. “This Community Training Session gives fans a unique opportunity to see one of the world’s top national teams train in person and be part of the excitement surrounding FIFA World Cup 2026™ here in North Texas.”

A representative from the Czech national team also shared excitement about connecting with the local community during their time in North Texas.

“After 20 years, the Czech national team is back at the FIFA World Cup. The community training session is always a great event and we are looking forward to meeting the people from Dallas, which will become our home for a few weeks,” said Pavel Nedvěd, General Manager of the Czech national team.

In March, Mansfield Stadium was officially designated as a FIFA World Cup 2026 Team Base Camp Training Site. Team Czechia was later assigned to the venue after advancing through UEFA Play-Off Path D. As part of the designation, Mansfield Stadium will serve as the team’s primary training and operational headquarters throughout the tournament.

“Mansfield is proud to host the Czechia national team and we want to show them they have the community's support,” Mansfield Mayor Michael Evans said. “Being the tournament home to these elite athletes is one of the best ways to start Mansfield's story as the Southern Gateway to Soccer in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.”

The event will serve as the only public opportunity to watch Team Czechia train before it kicks off its FIFA World Cup 2026™ schedule against South Korea on June 11 at Guadalajara Stadium.
