Free live music returns to downtown Arlington when the Levitt Pavilion launches its 19th season April 24, with opening weekend performances by Austin-based alt rocker Uncle Lucius and Tejano icon Jay Perez. Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital - Arlington returns as the season’s presenting sponsor.
The popular outdoor performance venue at 100 E. Abram St. across from City Hall will once again serve as a top destination for live music in the heart of the city, offering a welcoming, laid-back setting where guests can gather with friends and family — or come solo — and enjoy an evening of free music.
The 2026 season runs through mid-summer, then resumes Labor Day weekend and continues through late October. Highlights for the spring and summer series include Salsa Night on May 16; the three-day DreamFest over Memorial Day weekend featuring Martha and the Vandellas, Wade Bowen and Marcos Orozco; and the Arlington Juneteenth Celebration on June 20. Noteworthy fall dates announced so far include a 9/11 tribute concert featuring rising country star Coffey Anderson on Sept. 11 and the Arlington Hispanic Heritage Celebration on Oct. 5. The fall lineup also includes Do Good Fest on Oct. 24, along with tribute nights celebrating the music of Bob Seger, ABBA and La Mafia throughout the season.
New and expanded events guests can look forward to include the Texas Made Songs: Singer-Songwriter Night on June 19, anchored by country hitmaker Radney Foster, and the return of Praise and Worship Night on Sept. 12, headlined by contemporary Christian hitmaker Matthew West.
Also noteworthy for 2026 is the expansion of the Levitt Youth Spotlight program, made possible through support from Texas Trust Credit Union, the program’s first-ever presenting sponsor. Now in its third year, Youth Spotlight will feature more young performers and expanded opportunities, with student artists from Arlington and other areas in DFW taking the stage ahead of opening acts. Performances are designed to complement the evening’s lineup, creating an enriched concert experience for Levitt guests while giving promising young performers the chance to gain professional experience.
Opening acts throughout the season are part of the Levitt’s ongoing Share the Stage initiative, which highlights emerging artists from DFW and across Texas and reflects the Levitt’s ongoing commitment to supporting the regional music ecosystem.
“We’re excited to welcome a mix of first-time Levitt artists and returning favorites to the stage this season,” said Letatia Teykl, executive director of Levitt Pavilion Arlington. “We’re also proud to celebrate the fifth installments of our Juneteenth and Hispanic Heritage celebrations, which have become well-attended, meaningful traditions for our community, and to expand our Youth Spotlight program to create even more opportunities for young artists to take the stage.
“There’s a lot of momentum and anticipation as we head toward our 20th anniversary season next year," Teykl continued. “Whether you come with a group or on your own, the Levitt is a place where everyone can feel at home and have a good time — stop by the information booth, say hello and learn how to make the most of your visit.”
Most concerts begin with opening artists at 7:30 p.m., though schedules can vary. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy live music spanning Texas country, jazz, blues, R&B, Americana, Southern rock and much more. Most events feature food trucks and shopping vendors, with abundant free parking available throughout downtown.
Looking ahead, Levitt Arlington will also receive nearly $2.3 million in funding to support significant upgrades to its sound, visual and security infrastructure, with work expected to begin this fall, an investment designed to fortify and elevate the Levitt experience for the next generation.
