Goodwill North Central Texas will celebrate the grand opening of its new Mansfield retail store, the organization’s largest location in its territory, with a ribbon cutting at 9 a.m. Friday, March 27, at 989 N. Walnut Creek Drive, followed by music from a live DJ and snow cones from Kona Ice from noon-4 p.m. (free for the first 200 guests).

The newly relocated store features an expanded 19,677-square-foot space designed to better serve the growing Mansfield community, increase access to affordable shopping and donations and support Goodwill’s mission. The larger footprint allows for increased inventory, an enhanced shopping experience and the creation of new jobs in the area.

The event is open to the public and offers a fun, family-friendly atmosphere to welcome the community. As with all Goodwill locations, revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund Goodwill’s free education, job training and employment programs, serving individuals with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, the formerly incarcerated and those experiencing homelessness across North Central Texas.
