Warmer temperatures are on the way, and DQ restaurants in Texas are answering the sweet call of spring. On March 19, fans can celebrate the first day of spring with a FREE small vanilla cone as a part of the annual Free Cone Day celebration. The offer is available at participating DQ restaurants, limit one per person, with no purchase required.

The classic flavor of our DQ world-famous soft serve is a simple, delicious way to greet spring in Texas. Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars and visit their local DQ restaurant to kick off the new season and shake off the winter blues.

“On March 19, DQ restaurants in Texas are celebrating one of our favorite traditions, Free Cone Day, by serving up free small cones to fans who stop by,” said Lou Romanus, CEO of the Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council. “This day is a heartfelt thank you to both loyal and new DQ fans across Texas.”

Throughout March, sweet treat enthusiasts can also try the new Mint Crunchin’ Cookie Dipped Cone and the returning Mint OREO® Blizzard® Treat, both delivering cool, creamy mint flavor in every bite.
