Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, in partnership with Crown Golf, is proud to announce the launch of the 2026 Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Crown Golf Sports Awards, honoring outstanding high school student-athletes from Arlington, Grand Prairie, Kennedale and Mansfield.
The annual awards program recognizes exceptional athletes from the school year who exemplify excellence not only in athletic performance, but also in academic achievement, character and integrity. From the court and the field to the pool and track, the awards celebrate the dedication, discipline and talent of student-athletes across a wide range of sports.
“We are excited to once again partner with Crown Golf to present the 2026 Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Crown Golf Sports Awards,” said Juan Fresquez Jr., president of Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. “This program shines a spotlight on the remarkable athletes in our communities and reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting youth athletics and celebrating excellence.”
Nominations are now open, and coaches, parents, peers, educators and community members are encouraged to nominate deserving student-athletes. Nominees will be evaluated by a selection committee comprised of high school sports educators, administrators and community leaders.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Methodist Mansfield Medical Center to honor the best athletes in our area,” said Justin Poynter, president of Crown Golf. “These awards recognize student-athletes who embody sportsmanship, dedication and integrity — values that extend far beyond competition.”
The Methodist Mansfield Medical Center Crown Golf Sports Awards Ceremony will be from 6-8 p.m. May 14 at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts, where winners will be announced and celebrated for their outstanding accomplishments.
