Methodist Health System has been named one of Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2026, earning two Employees’ Choice Awards:
Ranked No. 4 nationwide among 25 Best Places to Work in Healthcare, Biotech and Pharmaceuticals
Ranked No. 25 nationwide among 100 Best Places to Work (U.S. Large Employers), rising from No. 86 in 2025
This marks the second consecutive year Methodist has been recognized among Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work, underscoring the health system’s continued focus on culture and engagement, and delivering on its mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.
Unlike other workplace awards, the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards are based entirely on the feedback of current and former employees, who voluntarily and anonymously submit reviews on the platform about their employer, job and work environment.
“Being named a Glassdoor Best Place to Work is a profound honor,” said James C. Scoggin Jr., chief executive officer at Methodist. “Doing so for the second consecutive year with significant improvement is a testament to the 12,000-plus members of the Methodist family who live out our mission every single day. Thank you for the passion you pour into caring for our patients, supporting each other and making Methodist a truly special place.”
In 2026, Methodist was recognized not only among the best employers across industries, but also as one of the top healthcare organizations in the country, ranking fourth on Glassdoor’s inaugural list of the Best Places to Work in Healthcare, Biotech and Pharmaceuticals.
“Such an exciting award, especially seeing the continuous improvement that our system has made,” said Pam Stoyanoff, president and chief operating officer at Methodist. “I’m so proud of our team members, physicians, volunteers and leaders who work tirelessly to consistently achieve top-tier excellence in all that we do – quality of care, patient experience, and employee engagement. Well done, everyone!”
Employees reviewing Methodist on Glassdoor consistently highlight the organization’s mission-driven culture, commitment to patient care, opportunities for growth and supportive leadership.
“The culture that Methodist has is like no other, because it is built by people like no other,” said Alen Brcic, senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Methodist. “We are honored being named as a Glassdoor Best Place to Work again, but the true honor is working alongside more than 12,000 team members every day.”
“Even amid the uncertainty of 2025, these standout employers have shown resilience, sustaining high levels of employee satisfaction and trust as they navigate change,” said Owen Humphries, president at Glassdoor. “In today’s competitive job market, Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work award serves as a trusted guide for job seekers, spotlighting the companies where employees thrive while helping candidates connect with workplaces that reflect their values and career ambitions.”
Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Award winners are determined using a proprietary awards algorithm, which evaluated the quantity, quality and consistency of approved employee reviews submitted by U.S.-based employees between Oct. 17, 2024, and Oct. 16, 2025.
