Police: 23-year-old shot in domestic dispute

A 23-year-old man was shot Wednesday night in a domestic dispute in Mansfield, according to police.

After receiving multiple calls about shots being fired, Mansfield police located a man with gunshot wounds to his face and hand in the 500 block of Kings Way Drive at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Police transported the injured man to a patrol unit before he was taken to Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, where his injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.

Mansfield police detained a man and woman who were attempting to leave the area in a vehicle that matched the suspects, according to the police report.

The incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between the three participants, according to police. All three people involved have been detained, the report states.
