Hundreds of people packed The Grand View on Thursday night for the 11th annual Taste of Mansfield.
More than 500 people, larger than any previous Taste, enjoyed food samplings from 22 vendors, caterers and local restaurants. The event is a fund-raiser for the non-profit Mansfield Mission Center.

“Heartfelt gratitude to the community for supporting the mission center,” said Stacia Miller, director of development for the Mansfield Mission Center. “Thank you to our vendors for coming out and serving food, all the sponsors, people who donated silent auction items and the volunteers.”
Miller also cited Christy Oldham, for coordinating the annual event.
Proceeds from the Taste of Mansfield will be used to support the mission’s programs, including the free food market, medical and vision clinic, counseling and financial coaching.
“God is doing the work,” Miller said. “The best is yet to come. We are honored to be a part of it.”
