Legacy moves up homecoming game due to weather forecast

Legacy (4-5, 2-3 6A Region I District 3) lost a close one Thursday night, falling to Crowley 30-21 during homecoming at R.L. Anderson Stadium. The Broncos' game was moved from Friday night at Newsom Stadium due to predicted bad weather.

Timberview (6-3, 5-2 5A Region I District 3) rolled past host Grapevine 35-20 on Thursday night, while Lake Ridge (6-2, 3-1 6A Region I District 3) mowed down Weatherford 63-46 at Newsom Stadium on Thursday.

Summit (5-2, 4-1 5A Region I District 3) tackles Colleyville Heritage at 5 p.m. Friday at Newsom Stadium. The time was moved up to avoid predicted bad storms.

Mansfield (4-4, 3-1 6A Region I District 3) has a bye this week.
