Methodist Mansfield Medical Center celebrated breast cancer survivors and those still in the fight at the Pink Luncheon on Saturday.
Breast cancer survivor Thandi Montgomery was the keynote speaker of the event, held in the cafeteria area of the hospital, 2700 E. Broad St.
“Today we celebrate all of our breast cancer survivors in fellowship,” said Juan Fresquez, president of Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. “No one should have to walk this journey alone.
“I’m excited to see all the breast cancer survivors supporting each other,” he said. “We meet people in different stages of this journey. The support group is life changing.”
