The Mansfield ISD, Common Ground Mansfield and Mansfield Churches for the City hosted the annual Prayer Breakfast at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday morning.
Area officials, school principals, school board members and City Council members gathered to pray for students, staff, parents and the community.
Common Ground President Jim Hampton presented J.L. Boren Elementary teacher Casey Lambert with the Gary Whetzel Heart of the Community Award for his 32 years of service to the district.
