Mom & Baby Expo set for Saturday

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center invites families from across the community to the free Mom & Baby Expo, a fun and informative event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at the hospital, 2700 E. Broad St., to support mothers at every stage of the parenting journey.

Whether you are planning to start a family, currently expecting, recently delivered or already raising little ones, the Mom & Baby Expo is the perfect place to gather helpful resources, enjoy family-friendly activities, and connect with other parents.

This special event will feature:

• Mom Lounge – a relaxing space for mothers

• Kid’s Play Area – fun activities to keep little ones entertained

• Local Shopping Vendors – unique products for moms and babies

• Food Trucks – delicious bites for the whole family

• Door Prizes – exciting giveaways throughout the day

• Educational Tables staffed by experienced RNs covering:

o Safe sleep practices

o Infant bathing tips

o Lactation support

o Blood pressure and pregnancy health

o Car seat safety

“Our goal is to provide a morning filled with information, activities, and resources that make motherhood a little simpler — and healthier,” said Chief Nursing Officer Nora Frasier. “We welcome all moms, dads and families to come out and join us.”
