Methodist Mansfield Medical Center has been honored with four distinguished American Heart Association (AHA) Achievement Awards, underscoring the hospital’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality cardiovascular and stroke care using the latest evidence-based practices.

These awards reflect Methodist Mansfield’s continued excellence in improving patient outcomes and delivering timely, guideline-driven treatment to patients with some of the most serious and time-sensitive conditions.

The honors include:

Get With The Guidelines – Stroke GOLD PLUS

With Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll – Recognizing consistent, high-level care for stroke patients and a commitment to reducing the impact of stroke and diabetes through early detection and intervention.

Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI GOLD

With Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll – Acknowledging superior treatment of patients experiencing non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), including management of co-occurring diabetes.

Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease STEMI Receiving Center GOLD PLUS

With Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll – Recognizing advanced care for ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients, often among the most critical cardiac cases, with added attention to diabetic patient care.

Mission: Lifeline® Regional Award

A regional distinction celebrating Methodist Mansfield’s role as a pioneer and innovator in revitalizing STEMI systems of care. This honor recognizes the hospital’s collaborative leadership and performance in building a seamless, high-performing network of emergency response and interventional cardiology services.
