YMCA plans summer full of fun

School’s out for summer! Time to fill up the calendar with arts & crafts, swimming, sports and STEM camps with the Arlington-Mansfield Area YMCA.

Camps kick off this week and run through Aug. 8 for ages 4-12. Youngsters can experience traditional camp with songs, activities, swimming, arts & crafts and sports, or focus on specialty camps like lacrosse, bowling, swimming, basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball. Overnight camps at Camp Carter and Camp Grady Spruce are also planned.

Day camps run from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. with drop-off starting at 7:30 a.m. Youngsters can also opt in for extended camp from 4-6 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Costs range from $179-$239 for day camp, with extended camp an extra $25 per week. Overnight camps $425-$920 for the week.
