Fancy was originally found in late March when Animal Control had to set a trap for her. When they got her out of the trap they realized she was nursing puppies. They looked everywhere for them, going through creek beds and knocking on doors. Unfortunately the puppies were not found.
About 10 days later animal control received a call from a neighboring property that they'd been feeding some puppies under their house but it was going to rain and they needed help. It was definitely Fancy's babies. They went into foster care because Fancy was already dried up and was scheduled to be spayed. She was placed up for adoption and found a new owner.
Unfortunately he decided that Fancy was an outside dog and she said she didn't like that. She dug up holes and chewed on his stuff, so he returned her. Animal control is happy to have Fancy back and is determined to find her the best home!
Fancy loves kids, gets along with cats and really enjoys dogs that are smaller than her. She is 3 to 4 years old and weighs 40 pounds.
