Historical: First Baptist Church of Lillian

The First Baptist Church of Lillian was formed in 1870 as Pleasant Point Baptist Church, the third church formed in Johnson County. In 1968, the church was renamed Lillian Baptist in order to identify with its present location at 10552 County Road 519 in Lillian, an unincorporated area 11 miles southwest of Mansfield. In 1980, the church was renamed the First Baptist Church of Lillian.
