Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Violet Marie Burnett passed away May 11, 2022, at home with family nearby. She fought a hard fight against colon cancer.
Violet was born Feb. 24, 1956, in Charleston, W.V., to father Ben and mother Hazel McCallister. She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Sutton; step-father, Bruce Sutton; brother, Dale McCallister; and son, Morris McCallister. Violet is survived by her brothers, Bob McCallister, Don McCallister and Jimmy McCallister; her sons, Brian Rigsby and Chris Burnett; and her grandchildren, Britinee Rigsby, Blake Rigsby, Chance McCallister, Riley McCallister, Brandon Burnett, Megean Burnett, Savannah Burnett, Jason Burnett and Christopher Burnett.
