Obituary: Sharman Miller

Mrs. Sharman Miller, 75, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away Aug. 23, 2023.  She was born in Lake Preston, South Dakota, on April 26, 1948, the daughter of the late J.J. Eide and Virginia Reed Eide.

Mrs. Miller obtained a bachelor of arts degree and was a retired teacher, having taught in Mansfield, Texas. She was a kind and generous person who anonymously gave to help make a difference in the lives of those in need. She also loved her grandson, Joe, her dogs, reading, crossword puzzles and was a Christian by faith.

She is survived by sons Eric Miller and Kalim Jacobs; her daughter-in-law, Brook Jacobs; and grandchild, Joseph Jacobs; brothers, Allen Eide and Robert Eide; and sister, Bonnie Pies. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Miller.

A memorial service was held Aug. 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the chapel at Almon Funeral Home.
