Sara Sue Thompson, 83, of Mansfield, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 21, 2022, in Fort Worth, Texas. Sue was born Aug. 1, 1938, to Marshall and Della (Alford) Thompson in Mansfield, Texas. She graduated from Mansfield High School class of 1956. A few weeks after graduating she started her career with South Western Bell until her retirement in 1986. Sue enjoyed traveling and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Mac Thompson; sister-in-law, Nina Thompson and nephew, Bill Thompson.
Sue leaves behind to cherish her memory her brother, Monroe Thompson; sister-in-law, Barbara Thompson; nieces Donna Ward and husband Richard and Jana Breazeale and husband Trey; numerous great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
