Royce Alan Roberts, 67, of Fort Worth, passed away June 7, 2022. Royce was born to Bill and Imogene (Owens) Roberts on Jan. 14, 1955, in Meridian, Texas. He graduated from Mansfield High School and went on to pursue a career in transportation as a truck driver.

Royce was above all a man who loved his family. He loved spending time with his three sons and being Papa Royce to his grandchildren. He also loved his pets. Royce enjoyed barbecue, a good political joke and drinking whiskey. He liked to walk in and “stir the pot” and walk away. While he was known for his unique humor, he was better known for his kindness. Royce was always there to help in any way he could for family, friends, even strangers in need when no one else would. He will be dearly missed by all.

Royce is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Imogene Roberts; and his brothers, Randy, Ricky and Rory Roberts.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, David Roberts, Scott Roberts and Matthew Roberts and wife Tatia Roberts; daughter, Dovie Lucas; grandchildren, Allison Roberts, Xavier Roberts, Kaegan Roberts, Royce Roberts, Conner Roberts, Ronnie Westbrook and Dustin Westbrook; sister-in-law, Clara Roberts; nieces and nephews, Johnathan Roberts, Jennifer Stanton, Jessica Roberts, Randy Roberts, Deja Parker, Patricia Meason and Cammie Cook; and numerous extended family members and friends.
