Patrick Joseph Ryan, 80, passed away on Jan. 24, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 25, 1941, to Paul and Marion Ryan. Pat was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann Ryan. He is survived by his children Megan Frizzell (Jason), Michael Ryan and Patrick “Joey” Ryan (Kristin). He was a beloved Pop to his adoring 11 grandchildren: Madeline, Olivia, Luke, Sarah, Jake, Grace, Cade, Whitney, Hannah, Grant and Will. He is also survived by sisters Marion Hasslinger, Judy Schoenfeld, Kathleen Persak (Robert) and Mikey Maly (Dann) and many, many nieces and nephews.
Pat was a dedicated family man and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones at the lake. We will cherish the memories of pontoon boat rides with Pop, playing games on the shore, fireworks, firepits and funny conversations. He was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Services for Pat will be held at St. Jude Catholic Parish, 500 E. Dallas St., Mansfield, on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022. Visitation will start at 1 p.m. with a Mass to follow at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
