Obituary: Leta Faye Hackett

Leta Faye Hackett, 68, of Axtell, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 3, 2023. Leta was born to Berta and Andrew Hill on Nov. 4, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Mansfield High School and had her beautician license by the time she was 18 years old. Leta went on to obtain her instructor license from the Vogue Academy and carried forward her career there as a beauty instructor. She had great pride in her job and loved the ladies she worked with at Vogue.

Leta was a devoted daughter, loving mother and doting Nana to her grandchildren. She loved plants, feeding the birds and adored her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her father, Andrew Paul Hill, and leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Berta Lee Krantz Hill; son, James Hill and wife, Lindsay; grandchildren, Rachel Hill and Andrew Hill; and her two dogs, Baby and Bailey. She will be dearly missed by all.

The family has entrusted services to Blessing Funeral. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 10 with a graveside service immediately following at Hudson Cemetery in Kennedale.
