Obituary: Janice Sue Davis

Janice Sue Davis, 76, of Mansfield, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born July 8, 1945, in Lindsay, Calif., to Cecil and Elsie (Duncan) Cudd. Jan was raised in Weatherford, Texas, however, she lived most of her life in Mansfield, Texas. Jan had a good sense of humor. She loved gardening, fishing, camping and exploring the land with her beloved husband of 39 years Gerald H. Davis Sr. Jan also loved spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Gerald H. Davis Sr.; son, Gerald H. Davis Jr.; and siblings, Raymond, Dorothy and Linda.

Jan leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Danny Davis and wife Melody of Venus, Texas and Kenneth Davis and wife Cherie of Palmer, Texas; grandchildren, Sky Hankins, Derek Davis, Wade Davis, Brittany Davis, Zjeanae Dunlop and Sarah Petty; 11 great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.

She touched the lives of everyone she met and will be deeply missed.
