Charlotte Irene Elrod
Charlotte, 76, passed away on Jan. 13, 2022, at 9:05 p.m. She was born in Mansfield, Texas, on Oct. 21, 1945, the daughter of Raymond and Alice Miller. Siblings include two sisters and three brothers.
She attended Mansfield High School and graduated from cosmetology school. She then proceeded to have a career as a beautician for her friends and family and the surrounding area. In 1966 she married Marshall “Woochie” Elrod. They settled down in Mansfield to build a family and have 56 wonderful years together.
She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Alice; brothers, Charles, Wayne and Reginald.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Marshall; daughters, Shawnda and husband Charlie, Shannon and husband Jason; sisters, Barbara and Madilyn; grandchildren, Ethan and wife Whitley, Bailie, Hunter and Shyann; great-grandchildren, Sage and Holly.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 29 at Blessing Funeral Home, 401 Elm in Mansfield.
