Mansfield Cares is thrilled to host the 23rd annual Mansfield Cares Gala charity ball Feb. 25 at Walnut Creek Country Club at 7 p.m. The gala is the largest fund-raising event of the year for Mansfield Cares, which uses donations and sponsorships secured
throughout the year to provide support and resources to charities serving the Mansfield community.
“The gala is an opportunity for residents of Mansfield and the surrounding area to come together and provide meaningful support to the programs that help buoy up our community,” said John Pressley, president of Mansfield Cares. “We are grateful to all of our attendees, donors and sponsors, and we look forward to making this the most impactful Mansfield Cares Gala yet.”
The theme of the 2023 gala is A Night in Paris, and attendees will enjoy an evening reminiscent of romantic Parisian streets and entertainment, including live music from the band "After Party," dancing, cocktails, heavy hors d’oeuvres, live and silent auctions.
The live and silent auctions offer significant contributions to the overall fund-raising of the gala, with items in this year’s auction to include gift cards and services to support local Mansfield programs like Feed the Kids, Angel Tree and Back to School. This year the event will have a puppy to auction as well as trips, a gun and a guitar with handwritten lyrics for "Wildfire" by Michael Martin Murphey.
Individual tickets for the gala may be purchased at https://mansfieldcares.ejoinme.org/Gala2023. Several sponsorship packages are also available, many of which include attendance for at least two guests.

Mansfield Cares is a501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and is the single largest annual supporter of
Mansfield’s many active community charities and wellness programs. Mansfield Cares operates
with a board of directors and a group of ambassadors who all serve in a volunteer capacity.
Donations to and funding raised by Mansfield Cares support the health, wellness and education
of those in the Mansfield community.
