Routine and methods can help save your sanity and help reduce the chance that you will skip some easy cleaning opportunities throughout your day.
When you get out of bed, make it. Don't even think about it, just turn around and make it (1 minute). When you get out of the shower, turn around and wipe it down. Don't even think about it, just wipe it down (1 minute). When you take off your clothes, throw them in the laundry basket (make sure you have things handy to help you stay organized). Don't think about it, just throw them in the basket.
When you don't do things immediately and you put them off, you make more work for yourself. These may seem like small habits and small changes but as you incorporate these small changes and they become routine, it will be easier to add more habits that make life run smoother and with less stress.
The small things we do or don't do can add up. There is only one degree between 32 and 33 but it is a major change to an ice cube!
