One of the things people love about looking at a model home is how clean and sleek things look. If you are going to sell your house, your Realtor will most likely tell you to pack up most of your décor and get the house spotless.
Most of us like that look, yet we fall into the trap of adding more and more stuff to our own homes and end up with a cluttered, hard-to-keep house. It does not matter how cute all the things are if you have too many.
Take a walk through your house and think about how you could clear some things out to achieve the look. The model home is not a functional home so you will have to make some compromises, but I bet you will be able to find some ways to clear a few things out and enjoy the new look and ease of your space.
If you are finding it hard to part with some of the items, think about selling them and doing something fun with the money, or donating them.
