Hezekiah "Khi" Balch and Mattie Kate Boswell are show in 1902. Khi and Katie married April 20, 1902, at the Boswell home, 310 W. Broad St. They had six children: Marie, William, Katherine, Roland, Mildred and Hezekiah Jr. They were married for 25 years. Katie wrote poems and songs for her husband to express her love for him and their children.
