The MISD Growth & Attendance Zone Committee will host a community meeting from 6-8 p.m. June 22 at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, 1110 W. Debbie Lane.

During the meeting, the committee will present their recommendations to the community and gather community feedback before presenting their recommendations to the superintendent’s leadership team and Mansfield ISD Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees will then take the committee’s recommendations and the community feedback to develop a long-range facilities plan.

The Growth & Attendance Zone Committee was formed in February to study and offer recommendations to the superintendent’s leadership team on projected growth, attendance zones, building capacities and building utilization.

The committee is comprised of more than 80 district stakeholders including parents, staff and community members.
