What is it that you dislike most about cleaning the house? Maybe dusting drives you crazy? I know it is my least favorite thing to do as far as cleaning goes. I don’t like it because it never seems like anything is 100 percent dust free.

Or perhaps mopping is the worst for you? I am not a fan of that one either. If you have the option of appointing someone else in the family to do the chore you hate, do that! If it’s all you, do the things you like first. Do tasks that are easiest first. This can help get you moving and give you a sense of accomplishment. This can propel you forward to knock out the things you don’t like to do. This is another way of tricking yourself into cleaning.

Music is also a HUGE help when it comes to cleaning. Housework can feel lonely so get yourself some good music going and make it fun! This will probably help you see that many daily chores can be accomplished in minutes. Instead of timing yourself with the stopwatch, just see how much you can get done before your favorite song is over.
