City plans Mansfield Rocks for Independence weekend

Mansfield's annual Independence Day weekend fireworks spectacular will return July 3 with a premium parking and viewing option. A limited number of tickets are now available for those who wish to park at and view the show from Hawaiian Falls and Big League Dreams, where the fireworks will be launched. Tickets cost $25 per vehicle. There must be a seat belt for every person in the vehicle.

People will also be able to watch the fireworks show for free at watch parties across the city. Locations include Vernon Newsom Stadium, Children’s Health Starcenter, Fieldhouse USA and The LOT Downtown’s “Great American Picnic."

"Mansfield Rocks Weekend" is a reimagined event, bringing together favorite parts of past “Rockin’ 4th of July” events, while adding more. The celebration runs July 2-4 with something happening every day, highlighted by the fireworks spectacular on July 3.
