Mansfield ISD and the City of Mansfield are combining holiday events to create a four-day extravaganza. This year, Mansfield ISD’s Toys for Tots and the City of Mansfield’s Hometown Holidays will be hosted together from Nov. 30 through Dec. 3 at the Dr. Jim Vaszauskas Center for the Performing Arts, 1110 W. Debbie Lane.

The event will feature carnival rides, a sledding hill, games, live performances, a petting zoo, interactive arts, food, fireworks, outdoor shows, photos with Santa and more.

MISD’s Toys for Tots is now in its 11th year. The district is celebrating the launch of its own Marine Toys for Tots Campaign, which means all toys collected during the annual toy drive will go directly to Mansfield ISD families. The public is invited to attend the free event, scheduled for 5-10:30 p.m. Nov. 30, and all guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. New this year, the event will also include activities and accommodations specifically designed for those with sensory sensitivities.

The fun continues Dec. 1 with the City of Mansfield’s Tree Lighting and Fireworks Show from 5-9 p.m. Friday, the skies will light up again with the Mansfield Drone Show from 5-9 p.m. From noon-7 p.m. Saturday, come see Mansfield ISD’s dance teams perform to holiday music at the Dance Spectacular.

As always, admission to Toys for Tots is free for the entire family. To purchase optional ticketed attractions for Hometown Holiday events, click here.
