Bludworth School, 1916-1963

The Bludworth School was at FM 1187 and Gertie Barrett Road. The school was opened in 1916. The second floor was one large room that was also used for church services. On Feb. 11, 1961, Bludworth residents voted to merge with the Mansfield Independent School District. The school building was altered and used as a church.
