18 Mansfield ISD athletes qualify for state track and field

Eighteen track and field student-athletes are state bound after earning top honors at regional competitions. Students from Timberview, Summit, Lake Ridge and Mansfield High Schools will compete at the UIL State Track & Field Meet on May 12-13 at the Mike A. Meyers Stadium in Austin.

Qualifying for state were:

Timberview High School

4x100 Girls Relay - Taylor Fingers, Norah Nwonumah, Skye Fields, Hanyla Milligan

4x100 Boys Relay - Tyler Madison, Ethan Moffett, Nathan Tilmon, John Ware

4x200 Girls Relay - Taylor Fingers, Suree Sanders, Norah Nwonumah, Hanyla Milligan

4x400 Boys Relay - Ethan Moffett, Dajuan Hudson, Darnell Cole, Cameron Bates

Cameron Bates - 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles

Alex Moore - 110m Hurdles, 300m Hurdles

Norah Nwonumah - 200m Dash

Taylor Fingers – Triple Jump, Long Jump

Summit High School

Esther Shaba - 200m Dash

Arrianna Allen - Discus Throw, Shot Put

Brodrick Stewart - Shot Put

Lake Ridge High School

Miles Jones - 200m Dash

Mansfield High School

Nathan Bresee - Wheelchair Division
